Bringing Seaport Living to Life Online

Elevating the Digital Experience of Seaport Living
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This unique engagement involved developing a project just a block away from our office in the Seaport District. Our local presence provided a unique opportunity to create a brand and website that truly reflected a neighborhood we knew and loved. Alongside designing the website for this project, I also led and executed a photography shoot in the Seaport to capture the essence and vibe of the neighborhood. These photos became core elements of the brand and are still used as primary assets for the website, print, and social campaigns.
Creating a Custom Floorplan Selector
UNIQUE WEB FUNCTIONALITY
One of the more extensive UX requirements for this project was to develop a floor plan experience that allowed users to explore by a building stack view and each floor plate. We began by sketching user flow ideas on a whiteboard and then creating wireframes. I then designed a mockup and optimized all of the SVG clickable assets to include hover and hit states, ready for handoff to our developers. The animation on the right shows the final experience, which is currently live on the site.
Visualizing the Neighborhood
INTERACTIVE MAP
Another unique feature for this site was a custom interactive map of the building’s neighborhood. Using Mapbox, we were able to customize every aspect, including street styles, colors, labels, and iconography. The map allows users to show and hide points of interest with toggle buttons for dining, fitness, shopping, and more, providing an immersive exploration of the surrounding area.
